This chapter is a really good one speaking of the remnant of Jacob, the house of Israel, and the repentant Gentiles all helping and teaching each other. Building Zion, the New Jerusalem, together.
In this chapter, it mentions the word "commence" five times in relation to the work the Father will do. Which actually is commencing at this moment. It's called building the kingdom of God. There is so much to do for such a work.
Preaching the word of God. Repenting and calling for repentance. Making covenants and keeping them. Gathering of people. Working together.
Creating Zion.
I mentioned in a previous blog post entitled "Raising our Children in Zion" about suggestions to build Zion with accompanying quotes from scriptures, and prophets and apostles.
Basically, follow the commandments. Love God. Love your neighbor as thyself.
