"Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign—Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" (14).How blessed are we to have a Savior. Immanuel, a name for Jesus Christ, comes from words in Hebrew that mean “God with us.” There should be no question as to why we celebrate Christmas. It's a season where we rejoice in his birth because it symbolizes our chance at Eternal life if we but repent and live righteously.
